12.5 Apply and assign calendar Once we have created all the public calendars created, we can apply or assign them to the employees. Previously we explained the difference between public and personal calendars, both concepts are decisive between the Apply and Assign options:

• Assign calendar: When a public calendar is assigned to a staff member, we are changing the template on which the employee's personal calendar is built. All values already existing in the personal calendar will be respected.

• Apply Calendar: When a public calendar is applied,

all personal calendar settings are removed

and the new public calendar is assigned as the employee's personal calendar template.
